Peter Ingwersen

Peter Ingwersen is a professor in information retrieval.  He is currently  Professor Emeritus from the Royal School of Library and Information Science in Copenhagen, Denmark. He has conducted experimental research in task-based user system interaction. Ingwersen has received several research awards including the ASIS&T Outstanding Teacher Award in 2007, the LA Chapter CISTA award in 2009, and an ASIS&T research award in 2003.  He has been invited to lecture on topics of information retrieval interaction, Information Retrieval Models, and Bibliometric methods. He has also published several books and more than 70 journal articles and conference papers. The contents  of this interview include many of Ingwersen’s experiences and interactions during the span of his career.
